Are there any extra materials charges?

Some classes do carry materials charges (Felting). Please see Course listings on the website and on the brochure for specific details.

Do Adult Education classes run during Mid-Term break and Easter/Christmas Holidays?

No

Does Coláiste na hInse have a Refund Policy?

• When a course is under-subscribed & does not run, Coláiste na hInse offers a 100% refund of fees.
• Fees are non refundable once you have enrolled.
• Contact the Director if you have any queries

How can I enrol?

If you prefer to pay by cash/cheque you can come along to our Enrolment Night in Coláiste na hInse, Bettystown, Co. Meath

I am suitably qualified and would be interested in delivering a Night class in Coláiste na hInse. What should I do?

If I want to pay by cheque/postal order/bank draft who do I make it payable to?
Is there any assistance available with paying fees?

Most adult education courses operate on a self-financing basis and we do all in our power to keep our fees as affordable as possible. It is your responsibility to pay for your fees in full before class start; however the following supports may be worth considering:
Financial Support from Development Agencies and Charities - In some instances, students have received assistance in paying their fees from SPIDAS funding, Co. Meath VEC, Navan Travellers Workshop, FAS, Department of Social, Community and Family Affairs and the St. Vincent de Paul Society. If you are unemployed or in receipt of Social Welfare Payments it may be worth contacting some/all of the agencies listed above.

Once I enrol will I hear from the Coláiste again?

No, so please come along on first night as scheduled.
Exception: As classes are all self-financing, a minimum number of 12 is required for classes to be confirmed. In the event of a class being cancelled due to inadequate numbers you will be contacted by the Adult Education Dept. However, once enrolled assume your class is going ahead and come along on the scheduled first night, unless you hear from us.

Students with Disabilities?

If you have disability, you should inform Coláiste na hInse – Bettystown of your disability when you register. Every effort will be made to assist you. Designated parking and toilet facilities are available.

What is the minimum age for entry on a Night Class?

All applicants must be 16 years or older.

What types of courses are on offer?

There are a broad range of courses on offer to include the following categories: Languages, Arts & Home Craft, Business, Hobbies and Leisure, Computers, First Aid and Fitness.

A full listing is available online or at www.meathnightclasses.ie Click on Adult Education to get a full listing of courses. You can enrol and pay online using a laser or credit card.  Brochures will be available here, in the school and also from local retail outlets.
